This Privacy Policy governs the use of the MdTab mobile application (the “App”) by employees of Marathon Distributors and approved employees of our authorized partners (“Users”). The App is intended for internal business use only to facilitate client visits, ordering, returns, and inventory management.

This Policy applies to the App and the processing of data generated by Users in the course of their employment and business duties. Because this App is an internal tool and accounts are pre-provisioned, **no public-facing personal data collection takes place.**

The App is designed to collect data necessary for the efficient and accurate execution of business tasks.

- Auditing and Compliance: Validating the accuracy of recorded visits using GPS location data.
- App Maintenance: Identifying and resolving technical issues and improving the App’s functionality.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Since the data is collected for internal business purposes, it is generally not shared with external parties except in the following limited circumstances:
- Partner Data Access: Employees of authorized partners may generate data related to their specific clients/products, and this data may be accessible to both their employer and Marathon Distributors as necessary for business operations under the terms of the partnership agreement.
- Service Providers: Data may be shared with external IT service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, database management) who are under strict contractual obligations of confidentiality and non-use, solely to maintain and secure the App and its infrastructure.
- Legal Compliance: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, we may be obligated to disclose specific data.
5. Data Security and Retention
Marathon Distributors maintains appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the operational and User data collected through the App.
- Security Measures: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only, thought a secure, password-protected server environment.
- Retention: Data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the business purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law or internal company retention policies.
6. Employee/Partner Employee Rights
As an App used under the terms of your employment or partnership agreement, your rights regarding the data collected are generally governed by your employment contract, internal company policies, and applicable labor laws.
